Water Medics

We have a team of medics experienced and qualified to work in and around water. If you have construction/industrial work, sporting event, film, tv or photo shoot involving water and need medical cover we can help.

The Purple Guide to safety at events has a recently updated chapter on events not only on the water but near to and states water “should be recognized as a potential hazard as part of the event risk assessment.” The guidance continues to make very valid points regarding the risks not only stemming from deep coastal waters but includes significant risks from small shallow bodies of water. The guidance also makes clear that the “medical plan should include provision for incidents on water” – and that’s where our team of Water Medics come in.

We have medical staff ranging from first responders to paramedics and everything in between who are also qualified and experienced as powerboat and jetski crew and helms, swiftwater rescue technicians, divers and kayakers.

We can deploy our water team as a stand alone resource or our team can slot into the wider medical and water safety set up bringing our specialist skills into your event team.
